MICKEY THE SUSHI PIRATE CAPTAIN

An assignment for Topics of Illustration where we had to take the template and text from the opening pages of Maurice Sendak's In the Night Kitchen and reimage it with our own character and story. Mickey is a sushi pirate captain who commands a sushi boat sailing the seven seas. He is clad with a salmon bandana, roe eyes, and ginger appendages.
